Mortal Kombat II (2026)

I just came back from watching the movie with my mom and it was ok, the story and the dialogues were ok, but the fight scenes were wanting, i mean maybe they could have gotten a better fighting director, i was expecting amazing fight scenes but there were none. the only good fight scene was when liu kang was fighting with kung lao. even the last fight scene with kitana and shao khan didn't have the wow factor. I like the actor who plays johnny cage, but the people who wrote the movie and the ones who choreograph the fight scenes did a bad job. I don't have any intention of watching it again.

One of my all time favorite animated movies. It's so funny and inspiring. I don't know how many times I've watched it. Video above shows some of my favorite scenes. I love the part and the background music when he was chasing the whale. I also love the part when he said this line:

"I understand my mom's judgemental. I think it's 'cause she cares partially, and I think it's also partially because everyone else is looking at her like, 'hey, cody's just a bum. cody's this. cody's that. cody's this.'

Cody's me, bro. Let me be me."

Movies I watched (and I liked) this year 2025

**SPOILER ALERT**

• Next - movie starring Nicholas Cage, Julianne Moore and Jessica Biel. I like how the story unfolded, I was able to watch it in one sitting, which meant I didn't find any boring scene. The main character can see his future but only 2 minutes forward. I like the story and the ending. It's on netflix until January 30, 2025
• Freedom Writers - movie starring Hillary Swank. The story reminds me of Dangerous Minds, the one I watched when I was in highschool, starred Michelle Pfieffer. Freedom Writers was based from the book with the same title. I searched for the book in amazon and put it on my buy list. The teacher is inspiring and it reminded me of the Hope I have in Jesus. Her students had hope even when they have difficult lives thanks to their teacher who cared for them.
• Love at First Sight - don't know who the actors are but I like the movie. meeting the love of your life in an airport. I like the dialogues, it's not corny.
